ProfileAccording to individual clients’ need, Simon Breese works with businesses as a mentor, coach or consultant to help them develop a sound business strategy, and improve their sales and marketing: from helping build profitable business models and market propositions which are both readily understood and compelling, to introducing straightforward measures to radically improve sales performance.
Specifically as a business mentor he helps executives make the transition into sales and business development roles, and senior managers master their role as sales director or leader. Simon also works with departments or whole companies to make them ‘sales aware’.
During 30 years’ in the IT industry Simon sold direct and via channels, established new markets, launched new products, and ran conferences, seminars and successful lead generation programmes. As a member of the senior management team of a $1Bn business and 160 salespeople, he also ran multiple programmes to improve sales effectiveness and led a strategic review of the business and subsequent change programmes.
Simon founded Consilium in 2006. Clients range from innovative start-ups such as those in wholesale telecommunications and crowd-sourced maritime charts to established businesses such as Advertising Agencies and Financial Services business process outsourcers. Clients typically share a need to exploit the potential of their product or service by improving the effectiveness of their offer to market, and to increase their sales.
