ProfileKerrie’s expertise lies in the experience she has gained in buying, starting and selling her five businesses in various different industry sectors. She has enthusiasm for fresh concepts and business models and enjoys the challenge of keeping businesses successful with a mix of strategic planning and energy.
Kerrie, by profession a Dispensing Optician, but an entrepreneur from a young age, started her first business at 20 with a recruitment agency catering for the Optical Industry in Australia. Moving back to the UK she moved into bar restaurants and started the Paradise Wine Bars in 1997. After becoming a mother capitalised on the empty niche market of Beauty Salons focusing on Mothers and opened The Yummy Mummy Beauty Salon in 2002 incorporating a crèche facility , imported beauty couches from the U.S. specifically designed to accommodate pregnant bumps. Yummy Mummy was the sole business with this particular concept in the U.K. Breaking into retail with the family theme she opened Yummy Tots Ltd resulting in vast experience in Merchandising.
The last couple of years Kerrie has built her Mentoring business panning all aspects of business to promote entry into the market place, sustainable growth and exit strategies.
